Our college union conducted Christmas celebration named "ALASTER".We all are excited for this beautiful celebration which gives us mental pleasure and also happiness. The programme was under the supervision of our union advisor Ms Fazda miss she actually does the job perfectly. As we all know Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world.

A feast central to the Christian liturgical year, it is preceded by the season of Advent or the Nativity Fast and initiates the season of Christmastide, which historically in the West lasts twelve days and culminates on Twelfth Night. Christmas Day is a public holiday in many countries,is celebrated religiously by a majority of Christians, as well as culturally by many non-Christians, and forms an integral part of the holiday season organized around it.It was much delightful experience for all of us.

The programme was started by offering prayer to the Supreme almighty by sidana and sreethi. Welcome speech was offered by our loving principal and presidential address was by Mr Shajahan Younus. The main attraction of this programme was the person who inaugurate this function which was done by Fr Prasanth M Das who gives us a touching short message to allow us.After that there was a competition for coroll song among various departments.Afterthat the most awaiting moment was happened that is exchanging gifts.Which was ended so nicely. Then there is dance programmers from various departments. The main attraction was this year the teachers too perform a dance and which was so soothing to see.

As all of we know Christmas is a celebration of joy and happiness, the day goes very well.We all enjoyed a lot.
