Sports day

 Fathima Memorial training college conducted a sports day on 29 October 2022.It was a mesmerizing experience for all of us.It was a great opportunity for most of the students who does not participated in sports  in their school days.Most of the physical education hours has stolen by other subject teachers.For us it was an awesome experience. Teachers were also excitingly looking forward on this awesome day.our sports sir informed us to come on 8.00 am. After March parade of each group Olympics torch was handover by athulshankar.The main attraction of this sport day was our sir arranged rules and regulations of meet according to norms.So it was a different experience for all of us. Already 50 of us was divided into three groups namely gangothri,yamunothri and mandakini.Gangothri won the prize for best March parade.






After that our meet was held to start.He gives instructions to us and also what things has to strictly followed while meet.All the students were participated on the programme very much enthusiastic. We felt a sort of team spirit among us.After that award ceremony was conducted and the meet was dispersed after national anthem.As a teacher trainee these types of programs make the fuel for our future teaching carrier ,and also gives the power to overcome some difficult situations in life.

Field Trip 🤩😍

  Field Trip are organised visit of teachers and students to immediate or distant places to enrich learning experience and to improve the quality of learning . It creates spirit of scientific enquiry and real-time experiences rather than seeking bookish knowledge. It improves social relations. We can obtain a real world experience. Every destination is a new experience. Travelling is something that refreshes our mind, body and soul. Teaching-learning process should not be contracted or shrinked to books only. A good journey can enhance our learning process.  The most awaited journey started from Mevaram at sharp 4.30 a.m. Students were present on time. Some were picked on the way. We had our breakfast from Kuttikanam at 8.30 a.m. We spent almost an hour and a half there and then continued our journey. By 10.30 a.m. we reached Suicide Point, Wagamon. "B. Ed (2021-2023)Batch inauguration"..

November 20,2021     The inauguration ceremony was held on 18 November 2021. The launch took place at the seminar hall of the college. I was so delighted to become a part of the FMTC family.  There were preliminary events like prayer and lamp lighting. The inaugural function began at 10 a.m. by reciting surah fatiha and prayer. The welcome speech was delivered by our respected principal Dr Lekshmi Natarajan. The event was inaugurated by Dr Sujith  Vijayanpillai ( MLA). He gave an inspiring speech on the importance of a healthy mind in life, to attain success. Dr A Younus Kunju (Ex MLA and chairman of FMTC educational trust) gave the keynote address. He described the history of FMTC and depicted his perception of education. Felicitation was given by our assistant professors Ms Anamika BS and  Ms Anupama MR.
