WHY LITERATURE..

 On 20 th December 2021 after the usual  assembly session , we were asked to stay in our seminar hall. A colleague of our vice chairman, Noushad Younus sir, Muhammed Hashim sir was there for a talk. He had an elaborate talk on the topic 'Why literature'.

Hashim sir explained about the need of literature in our modern world. Also he added about his reviews about how he visualize the art of literature. He also told the students about the reading habit and how it can modify a persons mind to collaborate with the modern system and the way he can spectate the whole world in a different perspective. We had a good interactive section with him where our students asked him about the need of literature in a different way. A fine question was raised to him from Athul of english department that the difference between reading a book and viewing a film of the same story written by a particular author. Then he replied to Athul about the imaginable answer that we should read the book to get the intense feeling of that book rather than viewing the story in a big screen because there, we can only see the creation of the director and his point of view.. But if we read the book, we are the director, we are the actor and we are the book itself. We can impart that story to our imagination with our own feelings

He explained the impact of books on the imagination and creativity of a person.He was gifted some books as a token of our love and respect

Sports day

  Fathima Memorial training college conducted a sports day on 29 October 2022.It was a mesmerizing experience for all of us.It was a great opportunity for most of the students who does not participated in sports  in their school days.Most of the physical education hours has stolen by other subject teachers.For us it was an awesome experience. Teachers were also excitingly looking forward on this awesome day.our sports sir informed us to come on 8.00 am. After March parade of each group Olympics torch was handover by athulshankar.The main attraction of this sport day was our sir arranged rules and regulations of meet according to norms.So it was a different experience for all of us. Already 50 of us was divided into three groups namely gangothri,yamunothri and mandakini.Gangothri won the prize for best March parade. World Mother Tongue Day✒️✏️

    As a part of world mother tongue day malayalam department of our college conducted a programme .It was a delightful experience forvall of us.To love one's mother it is important to love our own mother tongue.Mother tongue is the language which a child starts hearing after being born and thus, it also helps in providing a definite shape to our emotions and thoughts. Learning in your mother tongue also is crucial in enhancing other skills such as critical thinking, skills to learn a second language and literacy skills.The programme is named as "NANDUNI".It was inaugurated by our loving principal by writing her name on a black board .After that various games and activities was conducted on the basis of mother tongue.It was a wonderful experience forvall of us.
